My current siggy is from Wordsworth, Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood.

It is comforting to me, a sort of remembrance to the people I have lost.

Q does not allow enough characters to include the line that precedes it, but it really belongs with the verse. It is

What though the radiance which was once so bright, be now for ever taken from my sight

I love Wordsworth---and I love your selection---did. you love the movie with Natalie wood?

I've only changed my siggy a couple of times. The one I have now is pretty self-explanatory.

I saw this on pinterest lately and might change to it. It's along the same lines...

I was finishing up a letter to someone and I was signing off as 'Love, ........'. I thought well, why not and looked out my window to see some lovely roses in bloom outside - 'Just Joeys'. Couldn't just favor one rose after another as I enjoy so many, so my sig is a sign off with an enjoyment of flowers/roses. Kinda stumbled on the sig.

We're on the same wavelength again, BB, my cat-loving sista. 8)

I saw this great quote again when I was first diagnose with fibro. over a decade ago, and it was eloquently inscribed on the first page of an excellent fibro. self-help book.

I think that it also really applies to any physical or emotional situation, as a coping mechanism. Sort of like saying 'don't concentrate on what you can longer do, but what you can still do'. Modifications can many times be made, plus there's always new things to try.

I love that, too. It holds a special meaning for something I experienced.

It's also quoted in one of my favorite "old" movies, "Splendor in the Grass." :-)

Also to sylviahomeatlast, It's been years since I've seen that great movie. I should try to see it again, such a classic{#emotions_dlg.wub}

Mine is self explanatory. It's a Thos. Jefferson quote.

Seriously, I don't know when exactly that UFO landed & dumped all these stupid people, but they apparently aren't coming back for them.

{#emotions_dlg.laugh} I like your current siggy. They have been quietly assimilating with us for years and we had no idea{#emotions_dlg.blink}
