I am only stating fact, I have been on this forum for many years, and it is true!

@Hooty  Neither seniority nor perceived truth give you the right to be rude.    That is the truth, too.

Re: Taking a Break From Here!

In support of @Hooty, she is not trying to be rude, only stating fact. Not pointing out the OP as being in this category, but some posters have been known to do this on a repeat basis, looking for sympathy.

I promise to remind myself every day that I am strong, courageous, and resilient.

Re: Taking a Break From Here!

Someone who posts as often as does the OP is more likely to feel an obligation to explain a planned absence.  I see that more as a good manners thing than attenttion getting or sympathy seeking.  Now if she turns around later and does the Loretta Young double door entrance with flourishes I might have a different take . . .

Now people are arguing over the OP motive for leaving.

An obligation? Seriously?  No offense to the OP but this is a message board. We don't really "know" each other here. I hardly think posters here will be sitting around stressing out if the OP or anyone else quits posting!

Re: Taking a Break From Here!

Over the years I've read a fair number of  "Goodbye Cruel World, You Won't Have Me to Push Around Anymore" posts.

Quite often the correct number of appropriate responses will cause a change of heart.

Not sayin that's the case here......
