Taking Advantage Of The VERY HOT Weather

This woman found something constructive to do with the HOT weather.

Try it on your own.  If you don't want to do bread perhaps try a cake, cupcakes or brownies...or fry eggs on top of the mailbox. Smiley Happy

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'It's this hot in Texas. Roberta Wright, who lives in a suburb of Houston, baked bread in her mailbox. It only took 45 minutes!'

When the kids were little they fried eggs on my heated blacktop driveway!

You don't have to heat your house turning on the stove/oven.

Win/win!!

@Mersha    I don't believe it.  Bread and cake is typically baked at 325-350°.  No way does a mailbox get that hot....even in Texas.  The dough may firm up a bit but the inside is going to be mushy.  It sure wouldn't brown.  Methinks Roberta is telling a tall tale.

Re: Taking Advantage Of The VERY HOT Weather

It was on my Facebook feed so who knows.

Maybe some Texans or others in hot areas can try it and let us know.

@Kachina624   Yeah, but Roberta must have a great sense of humor.

@Kachina624

That was my thought, too.  Uh uh, I don't think so.  Not like frying an egg on the sidewalk.
