... to be nicer ... to listen to others ...to not assume you know everything ... to not assume everyone knows the facts that you know ... to stop bullying.

Right now in my high school in the city of Chicago where every race, size, ethnic group, and ability in both intellectual and physical tasks exist, kids are taking this vow and signing the wall in the cafeteria to promise it. We have just declared March as our own anti-bullying month and the students seem very pleased with our decision.

Maybe some adults elsewhere in the world can give it a try? Maybe not. But think about it.
