Very sad.  I know he had his demons, but I always hoped he would return to the character of Nicholas.  RIP.

I just saw this on Facebook. So very sad. He was an excellent actor and was so great on GH. Always hoped they would ask him back. Between Matthew Perry and Tyler Christopher, I hope people who are having addiction struggles see what damage it does to you. Even if you get sober, that really takes a toll on your body. Just so very sad.

Re: TYLER CHRISTOPHER DEAD

[ Edited ]

@meallen616 Yes...he WAS really the only Nikolas in my mind. Such a talent. The role was never the same after..not like even watching the same character.

I know he struggled with bi-polar etc...I am so very sorry to hear it. RIP

I had not heard about this! Tyler Christopher will always be the one and only Nikolas Cassadine to me--while one or two of the other actors were OK, it was just never the same character. There are some characters so iconic that their original portrayers shouldn't be replaced.

I really hope Tyler is at peace...he has wrestled with his demons for a very long time!

Just so sad that such talented people, like Matthew Perry and Tyler Christopher, had to suffer with their addictions.
