We have an open concept house and the TV is always on when the news is.  So we watch it during dinner at the table.  At least we don't sit on the couch with trays.

Dinner is the only meal we eat together and the TV is on, usually to reruns of MASH, or Law and Order, NEVER the news!!

I live alone. I also have only one television--upstairs and with only a Firestick. I read when I eat unless one of my cats sits next to me.Then I interact with one of the cats.

I live alone so yes, I watch TV while eating.  And when I go out to eat by myself, I bring my iPad with me Smiley Happy
