Frank Sinatra was out there way longer than he should have been.

They had him record a final album, I want to say it was the children's lullabies one.  I hear a little of it on Sirius Sinatra one day and it didn't even sound like him.

Re: TONY BENNETT RETIRES AT 95

At some point in the sixties I heard Tony Bennett sing When Joanna Loved Me.  What a song and he sang it so well, you could feel every word.  That is my favorite Bennett song to this day.

It is sad to hear he is retiring but certainly understanding.  He has paid his dues and given the music world excellence and made himself a legend. May he find peace of mind, enjoy life and know he has given all of us music that is timeless and will live on. I wish him the best.

Re: TONY BENNETT RETIRES AT 95

I have always loved hearing him sing! His voice is a true gift. I think still being able to sing so beautifully at age 95 is a rare and wonderful thing. Time to now take care of his physical self at age 95....they are wise to cancel the tour. I am sure doing a tour with the nonstop travel and little time to rest exhausts anyone at any age. Blessings to Tony!

It's about time -- just retiring at 95.  He should have done that years ago and enjoy the money he made.  Wishing him the best.  He is very fortunate to still be alive and living this long.

Re: TONY BENNETT RETIRES AT 95

Tony Bennett was in the league with the best of the best.   His singing voice was outstanding, always a joy to hear.  As a human being he was always a gentleman and I for one, enjoyed seeing and listening to him every chance I could get.

Back on Long Island many years ago, I met his brother in a club and there was no doubt he was Tony's brother, they almost looked like twins.  He too was a singer, not up there with Tony, but very enjoyable.

I hope he will take life a bit more easy now at his age, may the Lord keep him safe and well.Heart
