MY daughter and I are discussing whether she should wrap my 3 year old grandson's Santa gifts.  SHe says we wrapped her gifts and we did once she stopped believing in Santa.  HOwever when she was small we just put her gifts  from Santa out unwrapped under the tree.  SO, for those of you will small children or grandchildren do their Santa gifts get wrapped or not?

Our family always did unwrapped toys from Santa, and all the gifts from family etc. were wrapped.  We did that WAY WAY BEYOND the "believing" stages  (almost to adulthood) before finally reverting to all wrapped.  I loved it that way when they were little---just to see their faces when they saw the Santa gifts was priceless.

I would put everything in a pillowcase.....and tell the kiddos that Santa left a whole sack at your house.............

I wrap the stocking gifts for my grandchildren (and did for my children years back).............just feel it adds to the excitement and thrill for them for what may be inside!

@KathyPet@sunshine45

I need to ask DD as they will be here for the first time at Christmas!

My thoughts were that it would be fun to see them tear at the paper! I remember doing this at my grandmother's house! Since I think it is more fun that way, I may just go with it!

Always! That is part of the magic.

And how pretty it all looks when they come down in the morning.

I think Santa Claus would not approve of an unwrapped presentWoman Sad

as @sunshine45 said, the elves use her wrapping paper and ribbons to decorate.

Our elves always had their own paper and handwriting from Santa Claus.

To this day, gifts from Santa are mysteriously written in a handwriting unlike any of us in the family.Woman Very Happy

I always wrapped.  Santa had special paper that no other gifts were wrapped with.

I didn't want them to see everything all at once.   We unwrap one gift at a time

When I grew up in the 50's-60's Santa never wrapped.  He needed to see the gifts on his sleigh tho know what he was delivering to children.

Gifts from other family members were always wrapped.

Whatever  you decide, be consistant every year.

Wrap! I always did a few for my boys from Santa.

My son has continued this with my GD because he loves the excitement of seeing her open them. Takes longer to wrap than her opening them!
