It's fine Sugar, but this poster knows exactly what my intent is but still feels the need to call me out on that abbreviation. Don't know why, nor do I care at this point. It is what it is I guess.

A ""Lol"" with a prayer request is odd so maybe that was Lila's point. But maybe it's nervous laughter of a worried Mom. I pray for safe travelling for your son Syd. (:

SydneyH. as a mother my good thoughts for your son were sent with sincerity and I hope he has a safe and enjoyable trip. I didn't and still don't think that your request is lol .

Again I wish him a safe flight and an enjoyable trip.

Thank you. I don't ever think asking for prayers or good thoughts is laughable.

We worry about our kids, all kids, because it is what we as mothers do.

Evening Voyager, understood, however I use it all the time......I've been posting here over a decade AND have explained multiple times to this person that it doesn't take away from the intent of the entire post. Nobody else has to do that so I have no choice but to assume there's some weird issue that I no longer care to address. No sane person would allow this to continue either.......no matter the subject matter.

I'm assuming there has been something in the past, however, I also assume that a mother asking for prayers for her child is sacred.

I'm judging no one here.

Just adding my prayers for safe travel.

I appreciate that, I try not to judge harshly, but this person is making it very hard. They need to look inside and wonder why berating others is soo important.

Didn't know about the history. I'll just step away with prayers for Syd's son & all the people in bad weather. (:
