I'm a Cougar between July 31 and March 12, then I become (briefly) a demure lady who is the same age as her spouse.

As I'm sure we all know, you and your sister USED to be referred to as "***** Twins", and I know the term, as non-PC as it may be, because I'M PROUDLY *****😉!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Wait, wha?

We also have two children exactly 10 months apart. Our son was adopted and our daughter was born exactly ten months later. When they were small sometimes I would have fun with strangers who asked about their ages on the two months out of the year when they were the same age. Sometimes I would end up telling them the truth and sometimes I would just leave them wondering depending on whether or not I was feeling mischievous that particular day.

I have a sister who is 11 months apart from me.  When we were little everyone kept asking my mother, are they twins?  She would say no, they're just close in age.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!  Lindsays Grandma, today must be your birthday!!!  Have a great day!

My birthday is only two weeks apart from my DH's.  LOL!

@77yangya  My DH's birthday is 13 days before mine, both in the same month. However, he is two years older than I am.

@abbalulu   Wow! Same thing here. We adopted our son when he was 4 days old. Before he was 2 months, I got pregnant. I cried because I was happy AND because I realized I'd have both so close together  it'd be a real chore to handle. Luckily, my Mom lived close enough to come one or two days a week to help out and give me time off for food shopping, etc. Of course, with neither one walking, I had one on each hip. LOL

Re: THIS ALWAYS MAKES ME LAUGH

Family of 8 kids here and I am number 3.  The first 4 of us were born within less than 4 years!  We do share the same age for a little time.  The first 2 born, my sisters are only 9 mos apart (both Premies), then came me 11 mos after my sister and my brother came 10 mos after me!  crazy eh?

Crazy?  Yeah!  Preemies have a way of messing up your plans!

That must be a record.  Bless your Mom!

Re: THIS ALWAYS MAKES ME LAUGH

Almost everyone in my family shares the same birthday, but different years

My maternal grandparents were born the same day, one year apart.

My two sisters share the same birthday, 19 years apart.

I was born on my Aunt's birthday.

My FIL and DIL share the same birthday

My oldest son and nephew share the same birthday

My youngest son also shares a birthday with his cousin

My neice has two daughters who share a birthday, 3 years apart

Now family members are dying on the same day in different years..... really creepy.

In addition, I get worried every year on my birthday.  I was born on my Aunt's birthday and she died on our birthday.

Re: THIS ALWAYS MAKES ME LAUGH

Years ago my boss had a party and 9 months later his 5th (and last) child was born. As his wife joked, the people went home but the party went on.

He was chagrined to have an unplanned-for baby but, as is sometimes the case, the little surprise was his favorite child.

@Shanus  I well remember the despair of not being able to have a baby, the joy of adopting our son and the shock and awe of  getting pregnant a short time later. I too was so worried at first, wondering how I would be able to handle two babies at the same time, but things have a way of working themselves out. Also I was not a young new mother-I was already in my early thirties when all this occurred. You were lucky to have a Mom not too far away. We had no relatives close by at all. In order to get the groceries I would phone my husband at work and give him the grocery list once a week. lol  It's nice meeting someone with a similar experience.

Re: THIS ALWAYS MAKES ME LAUGH

My two youngest are 14 months apart, so I had two babies at once in diapers too.  I was only 25 and had a 6 year old child as well.

I didn't have help, but it wasn't a problem.  The only hardship was we didn't have much money and my DH worked two jobs.  I was home alone with the kids and barely saw my DH. When he was home, he was sleeping. He worked 11pm to 7am and 8am to 4pm.

I had to take all three children with me anytime I left the house.  Shopping for groceries was difficult and bringing purchases home and having to park a block away and get everything inside...groceries and the kids was a challenge.

I don't know how I did it.
