I'm starting this in honor of Citrine and a comment of hers about winter and the lack of snow in her area.  I hope she joins us Smiley Happy

At 4 am we had the heaviest rain I've ever heard in my life, and thunder and lightening, lots of it.

There's flash flooding around the Bay Area.  Significant rain is predicted all the way through the week, some continuing into Monday.

What's your weather like?

74 and mostly sunny at my house in Atlanta today. I love it. Possible strong storms over the weekend.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

MN checking in, the town I live in is currently 36 degrees, and gloomy outside, and the snow we do have is melting, NOT a happy camper, I happen to enjoy winter!

In the mitten its spring like. It's 40 degrees with a light mist of rain

It seems @Noel7  there is always a down side to everything. You needed the rain so badly, but you suffer mudslides because you get too much at once

Fairly heavy rain coming down in the general Phoenix area today.  I'm glad to be missing the Seattle weather this winter though.

Hi @CareBears

I like winter, too, but I am beginning to dread it.  SF has had virus after virus going around, and the big drugstores have almost run out of OTC meds.

74 degrees and pretty sunny all day; lovely for January, but it's supposed to become cold and wet.

I know @cherry , you said it!  Extreme drought to extreme rain.  Our local reservoirs are at capacity, some even had to be reduced, they couldn't hold all the water coming in.
