I feel so lucky. I have to admit it was the worst day of my life. This Community was here for me when I lost my Husband 8 1/2 years ago.

Now you got me through this horrible hurricane.

I can't tell you what it means to me to be a part of a Community like this.

This is a group of loving caring people, which is hard to find in this world today. I have about 2 more days of clean up and then I want to help out and Volunteer.

Thank You again for your caring and your prayers.

We may not always agree with each other here on the boards, but WE are always here for everyone that needs it.

One more Thank You to QVC for giving us these Forums to not only shop, but to love and care about each other.

I will never forget any of you for your support. Now we need to pray for those that lost everything. Many people don't even have insurance. My heart breaks for those that lost everything.

Death toll is up to 16. There will be a lot more. That is not counting all the death in the last Hurricane. You sit and wait hearing loud things bash against your house, and wonder what will you do if you lost everything?

Treasure each day. Thanks again to all ((HUGS))

@catter70 I did post I think yesterday, in the Hurricane update thread. Thanks for your concern and I am sorry it took me awhile. I had no power for almost 24 hours. I feel grateful that I got my power back quickly. The devastation here in Florida is unreal. Someone was with me.

@BalletBabe What a grateful post. I think these hurricanes this month has made a lot of us really think about what we have each and everyday. I'm so glad you are ok and this is over for you. Prayers and hugs. (((❤️))). Continued prayers for all affected.

It must be a horrible nightmare being in the midst of the damage.

@BalletBabe SO glad to hear you are ok!! I hope your home is in tact!

It was so scary and worrisome to watch people on the news be interviewed, saying they were going to "ride it out" even in evacuation areas. I wondered about if those people made it...as the warnings from the Governor to leave were very firm and specific. I have to say, politics aside, he impresses me as a manager in these situations, and is a great governor.

I continue to pray for all those in both storms, and cannot fathom or imagine losing everything in one day. God help them. I've helped in drives we had here to send down to NC and will continue to look for ways to help out. Good for you for helping others in your area. It's been good to see much help coming in from all states. Americans helping their fellow Americans...does still exist.

Last...I agree....I enjoy these boards and though we don't really know each other, people have developed helpful, enjoyable connections here. I hope QVC continues to keep the boards up. You just never know with each new CEO and powers-that-be and with ever evolving changes for the company, what will happen.

@BalletBabe I understand what you went through with the storm. Hurricane Wilma was the worse I have been through since I have lived here. I'll never forget either.
