I bought a Teeter and loved it but can no longer use it.  I had both hips replaced and my surgeon did not recommend using the inversion table.

I did love using the darn thing.  I always felt taller and peppier after getting off the machine.  It is still sitting in my living room - one of these days I am going to have to sell it.

I've thought about getting one but would be afraid I might panic and be unable to get off the thing.

I'll reiterate what others have said here.  Just because the board helped people some here, and just because it is made and sold, doesn't mean it's for you.  Please, check with your physician first.

We bought one but couldn't use it.  It hurt DH's ankles and I was suffering GERD and acid leaked up my throat.

My DH has one of these and uses it occasionally.  It is no miracle cure for his back problems.

We have had the Teeter inversion table for years. Both my husband and I enjoy it. I do not invert fully...only about 45 degree angle, which is enough for me. I find it relaxing and I feel taller once I am done. Don't worry about getting 'stuck' on it. I was a little concerned, but you can pull yourself forward from the handles and if you bend your knees, you also move back to an upright position. The instruction booklet is good and the videos online give a lot of info. I'm all for saving money, but on an item like this, make sure you get the best quality.

I read inversion therapy can worsen back problems in some cases.  Not to mention the other health risks like hypertension.
