My co worker had a CD with them.  She was fine with them.  They were only online.  I think it's a British bank.  She tried to get me to open a CD because they were paying so much interest.  But i wanted a bank I could get my hands on my money in case of an emergency.  So I didn't do it.

We shop so often on Amazon that we decided to get their credit card, which gives you 5 percent back on all Amazon purchases. It's our only store credit card. They use Synchrony. I haven't dealt with them, but my husband has and is not a fan -- nothing horrible; he just doesn't like their site, I think.

No issues here but I no longer use the cards, I am in the process of paying them off.

I've had an American Express for maybe 20 years, it's my go to.  No problems with them either.

@suzyQ3  my Amazon Visa is through Chase.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@gidgetgh, did you apply for the Amazon card through Amazon's site?

@suzyQ3

Thanks so much for your post. The  Amazon Cd was tempting .Thank God I didn't do it!!!

I really dislike Synchrony Bank .I have NEVER had a problem because I pay way before it is even due, but I just do not like them at all.

Since I have not been shopping at QVC much at all,I'm seriuosly thinking of cancelling my QCd. because of Syncrony Bank

@MalteseMomma, well, that was definitely not my intent. You might double-check to see whether that is your only option.

If you've never had any real problems and shop often on Amazon, I highly recommend their own card, for the 5  percent back. It really adds up.

And as I said, we haven't had any problems other than my husband not being particularly of Syncrony's site.

My Amazon card is through Chase also. And I did apply through the Amazon site. I'm going to cancel it though. I only got it because I got $100 off my Ninja Foodi grill if I opened it. We did the same with our Southwest Airlines cards that are also issued through Chase. We each got 60,000 points, but have no use otherwise for the cards and will be cancelling them.
