My husband's secretary used to send us a cake from them every year.  It was delicious.  A few years after he retired I ordered one for us.  Horrible.  That was it for us and Swiss Colony!

Bummer to hear they are not as good as they once were.  My husband used to order from them at Christmas time many years ago.  He loved the sausages and cheese spreads.  We received their catalog last week and I got all nostalgic about it.  Will have to check out the reviews.

As a child I would look through the catalogs and dream of getting a Chris Mouse every Christmas. 🐭

Never did got one. My mother always made homemade candies and fudge. She wasn't paying those prices for basically a candy bar.

Still get a catalog to this day even though I've never ordered from them.

I am tempted by the pictures.  Everything looks so yummy.

I went over to their website and put a Chris Mouse in my cart.  On sale for 16.00 (a whole dollar off).  They would charge me $12.00 to ship it. 😑

Gonna be another sad Christmas without one...

(Cue Elvis Presley - Blue Christmas)

🤣

I wonder if it is the same company.  I thought Figi's had gone out of business in 2019.

@Rockycoast Looks like the chocolate/food business is gone.

MARSHFIELD – Longtime Marshfield mail-order gift company Figi's, Inc. is closing, leaving nearly 300 people without jobs. Figi's corporate owner Mason Companies announced Jan. 4 operations will stop by the end of March, with 129 employees were let go. (from 2019 article)

There is a website called Figi's Gallery that looks like a Fingerhut type shop. A little bit of everything.

Stopped buying  Swiss  brand abt 18+ yrs ago .

Found another company named Figi's which had delicious  products .

Abt 2 yrs ago  received a gift of Swiss Colony and I did not care for the cheese  or sausage products. Tasted to processed  like plastic and stale

@skatting44  the same for me with Swiss Colony and Gigis. I forgot all about them.

Just received two Catalogues from Masoneasy Pay and Masseys stating that I've been approved for $750 each. Haven't order from them for over 20 years.

It's so good to see the Companies from years gone by.

Thanks for the update @MezzieStarr . Had not received a catalog from them in a few years. Thought I had read where they had closed.

List year as one of my daughter’s
Christmas gifts, I bought her the Petit fours. I had one of hers and it was delicious.
