Good. It’s best to be sure what the problem is. Besides the testing you mention, Your doctor could do a WBC (white blood cell blood test to see if you have an infection). She could also recheck your blood sugar. She could also refer you to an allergy specialist to check if you have allergies or an ENT to check for polyps. You could also have migraine, sinusitis, apnea, nasal polyp, infection, allergies, tension headache, blood sugar issue, tonsillitis, tonsil stones (tonsilloliths), adenoid problems. Your headaches could be a separate issue so let your doctor check you out.
This is research abstract provides important information about sinus headache versus migraine headache versus tension headache. Please read it. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19344297

Thanks for your response. I took some excedrin today and it did nothing. Yesterday I felt almost normal. Cleaned my house and my head did not hurt at all. Why is all I can think about is BRAIN TUMOR? Maybe becaue my Dr. mentioned it? ruling it out that is. she does not sugarcoat things. I love her but I really need to man up LOL MRI scheduled for Tuesday. Have a vacation coming up and a fun summer ahead and the sooner this is figured out the better. Now i just have to try and not worry myself sicker, because i am capable of that.

Please try not to worry. You have a good doctor, and testing is what a good doctor does. I know these tests can be scary. I will be thinking of you and waiting for your good news!

I just went thru a multitude of tests for myself. my doctor just didn't want to label anything or begin this pill for that try that pill for this.
it was at least a couple weeks to possibly 3 weeks of testing. he dug and finally found what was plaguing me for some 20 yrs. I have been complaining to my family doctor for years and he just shrugged his shoulders and never addressed this issue, till one spell i went to my gastro doctor and said will you please take me seriously and figure out what my problem is am tried of being ignored and telling me it is all in my head. he dug and found. tests and more test and more testing some not pleasent but finally an answer was found to a puzzle i have been complaining about for years. granted there is not much the doctor can do to help me but watch my diet like a hawk take a probitotic daily but at least he found what I have and I was not going crazy nor was it in my head. it was a huge weight off my shoulders less to worry about in that area.

I had 2 MRI's 22 years apart. The first one was in 1986 and I lost some hearing in my left ear (couldn't hear high-pitched sounds). Around 2008, I had another MRI and had trouble hearing. I went for a hearing test and I was told that I have nerve damage. A few years later, I read an article on-line that said MRIs cause hearing loss. They're supposed to give u earplugs - but I wasn't given any. There would be no other reason for me to lose so much hearing - I had exceptionally good hearing.

Well that sucks. I already wear hearing aids so I don't need any more hearing loss. THanks for telling me that. I will ask for them or maybe bring some myself to play it safe/

They can also give you ear muffs....I wore the ear plugs plus the ear muffs over top. I have very sensitive ears to loud sounds...causes pain for me.

I hope she also did a blood workup. A sweet taste in the mouth is a common issue for diabetes and other issues.
