Oh I hate to hear this. I read she passed in her sleep.

Wasn't it her who was diagnosed with breast cancer and decided against standard treatment? I am being treated for breast cancer, and can attest that the treatment is miserable!
But I believe it gives one the best chance. I had heard she was doing "holistic" or "natural" treatment. That was surely her right, but maybe it didn't work out so well for her.

I read she fought it for 23 years.

She fought it for 23 years and I know people who went through traditional treatment and died within a couple years.
Sorry you're dealing with cancer yourself.

Surviving an aggressive form of breast cancer for 23 years would likely be a pretty darn good run and result in anyone's book.

So sad, just recently read that she was hoping she would not pass before Alan did because he would be a basket case without her, they both had such a deep love for each other. Thank you for the laughs Suzanne, you are suffering no more, may you rest in peace.

She lived the way she wanted to. She seemed to have lived well. Decades of fighting aggressive breast cancer takes strong will and huge measures of positivity, regardless of how she and her doctors decided to treat her disease.
Wishing her family peace.
