I loved the days of Colleen and Suzanne on HSN. They use to crack me up watching them together. I even got to talk to her on HSN on the air.
Not sure but it sounds like she had muliple occurances of breast cancer thru the years but did not publicize it until a few months ago.
I noticed in her last videos on her instagram account that she looked and sounded weak. Then they annouced her breast cancer came back.
Ahhh so sad! RIP Suzanne!

The article I read said that after having a lumpectomy and radiation treatments she chose a holistic approach thereafter. She fought the good fight for many years.
RIP Suzanne...thanks for the laughs!

Sad, I remember 20 yrs ago when she 1st announced th breast cancer. If I remember correctly, she refused western medicine (chemo) and did an all natural alternative- Well, she survived many years. Brave, beautiful and a good person.

Suzanne Somers used traditional medical treatment: surgery as well as radiation. She chose not to have chemo and supplemented her traditional medical treatment with holistic treatment as well. Her choice of treatment served her well for 23 years. I respect her choice and applaud her for the path she chose!

Heard on a news station.

I saw this briefly on the news tonight. The anchor actually choked up when talking about this. I think he is old enough to remember her younger days.
I just saw her the other night as "Chrissy" on Three's Company.
She was always talking about health and taking care of yourself. That probably helped her during her battle with this horrible disease.

RIP Suzanne. I will remember you not as the dumb blonde on Three's Company, but rather as the smart woman, author and entrepeneur that you became.

I can't say I am totally shocked because I knew she had never recovered fully from that terrible fall down the steps in her old house.
However, I am beyond sad. I too watched her and Colleen back in her HSN days and I have always thought Suzanne was a pioneer of sorts for having the guts/savvy to go on a shopping channel.
She lived her life her way.
Rest in peace, beautiful Suzanne.
