This has been a week full of sweet surprises and DH and I are loving it.

We are wondering who Harrison is named after.

Bless this lovely little family. 🙏🏻👶🏻🙏🏻

@OKPrincess  I right away figured Harrison was a variation of Harry's nickname since his real name is Henry.

Harrison literally means "Harry's son"

@stellabystarlight @I would have thought they would give the baby a more formal name such as Archer and then affectionately Archie.

I share your opinion. Archer Harrison rolls off the tongue and sounds dignified with a more familiar nickname of Archie.

I'm very happy for the entire family with this beautiful little addition.

I think if they had gone "formal" it would have been Archibald.

Well he pretty cute! Everyone looks happy. The name isn’t my first choice. Hopefully it will grow on me.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

I read "Archie" and all I heard was Edith Bunkers voice saying, "Archie!" Gee does that age me?  I never even watched that show

@Suzeecat   My son owns a Comic shop and my first thought is that Archie comics will sell well!

I love the originality of the name.   I am not a fan of formality, protocol, and tradition.

I think it's a dreadful choice. However, they did not ask me.
