I did try to search to make sure that this has not already been brought up, so forgive me if it has.
This morning while driving into the office I was listening to "Morning Joe", and when it came to the business segment, they mentioned that in 2025 Wendy's will be moving to a surge pricing business model.
Anyone who utilizes Uber or Lyft understands this term. Basically, they will charge you more for food during the busier times of the day. I would assume lunch and dinner hours.
I was just wondering how others felt about this. If successful, they surmised that other fast food chains would copy the practice. I am not a fan of Wendy's food, but I personally would not pay more for food just because of the time of day that it was.
*******UPDATE*******
This morning, Wendys released a statement stating that they never said that they would have Surge Pricing, but instead Dynamic pricing. Where prices would decrease and increase.
I think they are backpedaling since there was such a strong online reaction.

It's a no-go for me.

A hard no from me

I heard this on the news this morning and it occurred to me that Wendy's would be very easy to totally avoid.

That is crazy!

Probably some of the most artery clogging junk food that is often aimed at kids and teens. Anything they do that may deter them from eating that stuff is a good thing. I remember ordering a salad from them and the chicken had beef fat in it. Yes, beef fat in chicken.🥺😳

I eat at Wendy's so infrequently it won't matter to me.

Nasty food. I would avoid it at any cost, knowing what I do today.
. I cannot remember the last time I ate at Wendy's. Many years ago and I think I had chili.

I heard about this just this morning. I have been to Wendy's twice in the past 20 years.

I can't remember the last time that I ate any fast food! I would rather spend a bit more and eat at a quality restaurant,
