I love the sunset. The colors are beautiful and it gives such a calming, peaceful and serene feeling.

At home ... I have a western exposure view of NYC skyline - I'm on the 10th Floor of a highrise building .

 

So - sunsets are what I see everyday.   I've photographed many of them ... particularly those after a stormy day.  This is one of many I've taken over the years.

I rarely see sunrises, but I do have some shots of a sunrise I saw when I was in Sicily.

Both are beautiful.

 

I probably prefer sunrise because it's the start of a new day.

@Lilysmom1 That is such a beautiful picture! I love how the water takes on the cast of the sky. We are so lucky to be able to enjoy these amazing sunsets.
