I prefer a sunset though I am an early riser and enjoy that time of day, there's something magical about the colors of a sunset.........calming, relaxing.

I'm also an early riser, but I think in the summer the sunrise signals another HOT day....🥵  So I'll give my vote to SUNSETS which signals a slight cooling to the temperatures and relaxing send off of another hectic day!

The both can be beautiful and calming to me.  I don't get up as early now that I'm retired so I don't see many sunrises.

I've seen more sunsets than sunrises, but still have to say *Sunrise*.

Mine is over the Atlantic, too.

Our sunset is over the bay, but you can see land on the other side and also a defunct power plant with it cooling tower and stacks.  So that totally ruins it. 

But people still flock up our street at night to watch it.

Good news is, they are tearing it all down---the power plant!  

Sunsets are killer on the eyes, too, even with sunglasses.

I actually like both.  It is a peaceful time of day morning or night.

I like sunsets the best. Like bright fireworks of color in the night sky!

I'm up so early before the sunrise that I always feel like where is the rest of the world?!

And like others have said the sunset has such incredibly vibrant colors sometimes with the huge orange moon appearing after the sun sets.

I have watched the sunrise over the ocean and that is a most magical way to see it.

Always sunsets, for me. A time to kick back, relax and begin to close the day.
