I know that weather is an ordinary subject, but we've all got it and it can effect our daily lives. We were expecting snow earlier in the week , but it was less than expected and melted the next day. Today is glorious with warmer temps and bright sunshine. I should knock wood, but this winter has been really pleasant ( I'm in southern NY state ) . Even if March goes out like a Lion , I won't complain , much. I hope you are all having a nice day. I saw my first snowdrops , can spring be far behind ?

Were supposed to be having some snow, rain big winds.  So far, it's partly cloudy, no sign of rain or snow and just a slight breeze.

Maybe things will pick up later as its just 12:15pm here.

I'm in Pa and we had rain and fog over night. Tomorrow rainy in the P.M. with a possible mix of snow. We've really had a mild  winter, also. I'd like to keep it that way.

I'm in NJ (south).  Only seen 3-5 minutes of scant flurries twice all winter.

@Kachina624 We had a heavy but brief snow event mid-morning. It covered cars and grassy areas. The snow stopped and accumulations melted even though the temperature is only 31. We are still expecting strong winds with gusts to 50 MPH.

I am glad KOAT is finally back on our cable provider. We lost it after the previous storms. The Albuquerque stations are relayed through a system of satellites or whatever and signals don't always arrive. KOB was on the air but only in standard definition for a couple of days. Now everything seems to be functioning properly. I like to hear a variety of forecasters predict these storms.

@On It    I hope you don't lose your TV again this evening.  Wind is picking up some here but no rain or snow.

@Kachina624    Got (thankfully) about an inch of rain last night.....but it's still 49° here at 2 in the afternoon.   COLD for us.    di

@Desertdi   Wow, with an inch of rain that place will look like the Garden of Eden.

Nothing going on at my house except wind.  Sunny with some cloudy but I can't see the mountains.  Everything in that direction looks foggy.
