Let's be clear about something, by no means am I trying to be insensitive to the deaths that occurred here in my state, NJ, nor am I 'celebrating' the weather as you claimed.   The deaths were tragic, yes,  but that does not mean that we aren't allowed to find some glimmer of positivity going forward.

@ciao_bella  Your post is absolutely celebrating the weather in New Jersey.  It is offensive, my cousin's husband died in the flood in NJ trying to save another person.

I am sorry your cousin's husband died in the flood, but you have absolutely no right to tell me what my intent was when I posted my thread.  If you feel offended by it, well so be it.   That is your perogative.    I will not be bullied into feeling like I did something wrong.

Most of us have the facility to be binary.

We can acknowledge tragedy and mourn, yet simultaneously appreciate the beauty of nature and weather that surrounds us.  Nothing unusual about that at all.

@ciao_bella Are you kidding?  No one is bullying you.  All of the 46 people that died in the northeast  meant something very special to other people.  And you did NOT make any mention of that in your original post.  What happened two days ago may be irrelevant and unimportant to you but it was life changing to others.  I'm finished with this now.

This is a thread about weather and fall and the OP lives in NJ.  There have been so many of these threads over the years.  The man who lost is life while trying to save another would I imagine want everyone to find joy wherever they can and whenever they can.

I live in GA, north of Atlanta.  Our leaves have been falling and changing color since August which is very unusual for us. It wasn't a cooler August by any means.  Our forecast for the next couple of days is for a bit less humidity and in the mid-80's, which is a little break for us but it's supposed to go right back to hot and humid within a week.

Fall isn't here yet.  We still have some lovely summer  days as er transition into Fall to enjoy in September and early October.   I haven't put away my whites yet because because we're bound to get several 80ish days in Septenber.
