Where do you expect them to go? 

Wars are fought when invaders try to take our land, so it's to be expected that displaced wildlife would do the same.

 

If you don't want to live with wildlife, stay in the city.

@occasionalrain Lots of us live in the city and have wild life.  Foxes, coyotes, coons, opossums, squirrels, all of these are very accustomed to making a living off of the city.

Obviously, the Raccoon is desperately hungry. If you feed him away from houses, he'll have no reason to try to break-in. Kindness brings blessings.
