YES it happened to me too with same cashier and sub maker!! Last time there was prior to the pandemic because of that! 😜

@RescueLover I don't know why they had employees making sandwiches and running the register too. She didn't change her gloves either just went back to make more sandwiches.🤮😮

the Subway in my area is nasty! The food is always messy and the taste is mediocre at best. Not to mention, there's always gnats flying around the condiments. I wish we could get a Jersey Mike's or even a Jimmy John's.

Same here...and I'm judging based on my last time there 11 yrs ago...I'm sure it's gotten worse.

I sure wish there was Jersey Mike closer to me.  We just have the subway.  Our stores is at least clean.  Food is bland though.

I haven't been to a Subway in forever.....The one around here is clean, but has very little traffic.....Our Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's is a lot busier and much more popular......I could see ours closing for sure.

I don't like their sandwiches, their cookies are good though!

We have a local Sub restaurant that is delicious and has been around for years, so that is usally where we go for a sub...its very small and family owned.

Sometimes I wonder if chain stores like Subway, Starbucks,,pizza places, don't cut their own throats with over planting. I live in a smaller town, 50,000 people spread out over a small valley. The business areas are concentrated near populous. We have 3 subways in town, not including a couple that split a store with another fast food.  We have 4 starbux wishing a 2 block area. 2 are across street from each other.  We counted a total of 11 Starbucks in town.  We have 9 name brand pizza parlors in. 1/2 mile area.  I don't get it. It seems one place goes in, competition goes in next door.

we have one InN Out in town, there  is a line mile long, people come from all over, out of town to eat there. Same with chikOfilet , just one, does business from opening to closing, constant. These are a success!

seems some chains cut their own throats. The sad. Part are many of the subways and such are owner leased, so they are the ones that get hurt. They buy a franchise, then CEO sells more around them cutting the francises profits.  I hear this from the owners all the time. Sad

these businesses need to think.  What will they do when when economy changes, what will they do when customers tastes changes. Many people cut out useless carbs and chemically loaded meats and such, less customers. Then price goes up, and the other customers can't afford it

I was just going to write that we are saturated with Subways in our town of 40,000.  We have 5 in our town!  Plus two amazing locally owned sandwich shops that put Subway to shame.

We have 13 locations in my town but I have never once tried them.  I just always felt if I wanted something with bread than it should have a burger in the middle and not lunch meat. Got enough of that growing up at home every Saturday for lunch.

I did go into a Subway about 20 years ago and bought a gift card for a Christmas present one year since the person went to Subway at least 2 to 3 times a week.  I was not impressed with the food I saw there.

There are a couple of Subway locations near me, I rarely order from there but it has always been a tuna on a wholewheat roll with black olives, tomato and red onions.

Subway isn't my favorite place in the world for a meal but I"m limited in the choices in the small town where I work.  There is one located in a gas station/convenience store and I find it's a doable choice for lunch since options are limited.

We have a Pizza Hut that gets almost no business, but yet they are still open. I pass by there every day to/from work and I never more than 2 or 3 cars. It is unbelievable, unless their business comes from delivery....

We only have one location.

I get a Subway once a week. Everything is fresh and tasty. Business is good at my SoCal location.

It's no wonder, they're disgusting and the amount of ingredients they put on the sandwich is paltry at best.

I got food poisoning at the local Subway maybe 15 years ago and never went back.  Maybe from the lettuce?
