In my viewing area, people now have to SUBSCRIBE to JTV!  Would you subscribe to QVC if they start doing this with all shopping channels?

I honestly don't know.

Can you be more specific about subscribing, or is that channel unavailable on basic cable?  I don't understand what you mean by subscribing.

QVC is watchable on my laptop I think JTV is accessible this way too.

No, I wouldn't subscribe to QVC.  I don't watch it very much, but would be disappointed if it became subscription only.  I just checked to see which channel JTV is for me.  When I turned to that channel it doesn't say anything about subscribing.  Apparently JTV isn't in HD with Comcast in my area.  That's surprising.  Maybe I just overlooked the HD channel.

No. I don't even have cable now & can stream if I want. I rarely want to watch any shopping channel live. I just check out the items I'm interested in online and I can watch the video if I want.

I'm not interested in sitting through hours of high pressure sales pitches for products I'm mostly interested in. I do understand many people enjoy that...

Wow, I don't think I would subscribe.  We can go online and see the items presented, that's what I do anyway.
