I break them up and put them in trash bags for trash pick up

I hang onto them, just in case a need arises. If I pick up any frozen or cold food for anyone in our family, they can use them for the cold stuff when they take it home.

With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon, bowls of hot side dishes can be held in them until the meat is sliced and everything is ready to go on the table.

Clean one out real good and use it as a makeshift ice bucket for a large group.

Most of the coolers QVC uses are so small inside they don't hold much. They're pretty much useless.

It's a shame they still use styrofoam. The only place I order food from uses recycleable coolers and recycleable plastic containers. The freezer packs are also recycleable, but I keep them and the coolers for when we're traveling and also give them to others. They work really well.

always give them away in my local BUY NOTHING groups on facebook. there is someone always wanting them.

Some great ideas here! Thank you! I have 3 containers with lids and I would keep 1 for summertime food storage in the car. Thank you friends! I do wish they would send food in a more environmentally-friendly way!

See if you can find an animal rescue group, you make feral cat houses out of them for shelter. I did that many times in the past.

If you are in a cold climate you might check for a rescue group that will use them for winter bedding for the cats. Our group picks them up and reuses them.

If the coolers were larger, they could be used by feral cat rescue groups to create outdoor shelters for their cats.

However, the coolers QVC uses I put with my recycling.

Kind of surprised by your response as you often remind people that the food is coming from the vendor and not qvc. So the coolers come from the vendor, not qvc.
