I just love these stories.
A pair of thieves in Madison, WI, who had just ripped off a Target store, accidentally pocket-dialed 911 during their getaway.
Authorities listened to a live play-by-play of their plans to sell stolen computer games and DVDs and at a local used video game store on the city’s East Side. The thieves bragged about what they stole, and where they could get the best prices for their loot. They also described their vehicle, and said that the cops would be looking for a blue Durango without license plates, so they decided to fool the cops by putting the plates back on. They were dumbfounded when they finally pulled into a video store parking lot, only to find squad cars ready to arrest them. They just couldn't figure out how the police knew exactly where they'd be.
You can't make this stuff up!
