Re: Strange but funny article about adding salt to tea!

I don't drink either one but will, sometimes, have a cup of hot tea if I have a sore throat.

Have never had coffee (can't even stand the smell) and only drink herbal teas.

yes! i laughed out loud when i heard it on the news. i wonder if the english found it funny too!

i love coffee and drink a lot of it. i love flavored teas also. i would love to drink more green tea, but the best ones come from japan. i definitely have to buy when im over there because its vastly different from green tea sold here.

@on the bay  Never heard of salt in tea before. I am a long-time tea drinker (no sugar, no salt). Tea brewing is all in the timing between the whites, reds, greens & blacks. If not brewed properly, (in most brands, I would say) bitterness can occur.

But it does also depend on the brand. Same thing with coffee.

I like caffeinated coffee and tea both. Sometimes I like Camomile tea though.

I'm having chamomile right now because I work tonight. Woman LOL

@Oznell,

You are making tea sound so good. Coffee too!

My mother drank chamomile every night before bed and I do like that. I'll have to remember to try that again. I like how it sometimes has little flowers in it.Woman Happy

I only drink unsweetened plain iced tea and like the bitterness.  I don't drink coffee or any hot drinks.  Weird I know.   But I sure like the way coffee smells.

Hot coffee, iced tea.

I really dislike iced coffee (major yuck), and I don't really care for hot tea.
