Stores really quiet

Stopped at our local mall late afternoon and couldn't believe how "quiet" it was. I talked to some of the people working at the various stores and they agreed it's been really slow and sales are definitely down.

I was amazed that Macy's even had racks upon racks of clothing priced 80-90% off....didn't have much time to actually go through everything that was there but no shortage of deals in the stores.
