I love the real stuff too. Either will do as long as there is LOTS of it. Only one I DON'T care for is the aerosol cans. As soon as you spray it on, it deflates and leave a little puddle of nothing. No good.

I like the canned brand sold at Costco in a package of 3.  I don't recall the name of it but it keeps it's shape more than Cool Whip can, doesn't deflate but then it doesn't sit there on the pie long enough either.  

I agree about most canned whipped creams being unsatisfactory so I only buy the brand at Costco.

Huh .....   never had that happen, but I shake the can to within an inch of its life before spraying the whipped cream on whatever ......   always was firm and creamy, or however ...  words are failing me, but you know what I mean.
