People who own stocks or who have stocks in their pension have a reason to be happy today since stocks hit a record high. Inflation is down and Christmas shopping is vigorous this year. Unemployment is down. You can't argue with success.

Re: Stocks Hit Record High

Not to mention the US Economy added 336,000 jobs in September, almost twice the amount expected.

Last time I filled up with gas the price was 2.89/gal. in Maryland.

Win/win all around.

Not only are asset values up, one of the fund companies that I use paid out their big, annual capital gains distributions yesterday. My investments are looking quite healthy.

Now if only people made enough money to afford the essentials.

There are so many people needing help to just buy food.  Food insecurity has doubled from the year 2020.

Our economy looks great on paper, but the reality is dire. We're in an urgent crises.

I was at lunch with childhood girlfriends today and talking about this.  It was uplifting to talk about something positive and feel hope.  Yes, there is a lot of negative going on but I also believe there is much more good and I see it everyday. It is a healthy feeling.
