How old is your oldest appliance whether big or small that still works and you use?

I have an Osterizer blender that still works like new. I have had it since the mid 80's. I also have a General Electric hand mixer that I use often from about that same time period.

I have an Electrolux vacuum cleaner that was purchased in 1980 and is still going strong.

I have a GE food processor from 1982; still use it. Then, I have a Black & Decker hand mixer from 1992, it replaced a 1978 B&D one that the plastic crumbled while using it. I'm comfortable using my old stuff.

I did buy a KitchenAid food processor and a KitchenAid hand mixer to update. My daughter prefers the KA hand mixer so she uses it, and the food processor is used by my husband whenever.

My first post. I have a West Bend electric frying pan that is made of aluminium and I got it in early 80's. It is still working and I use it all the time.

We have a Kenmore fridge in our basement that's on its 30th year.  We bought it when we married and moved it to this house. We have gone through 3 upstairs already .  They certainly don't make them like they used to.

My kitchen gadgets and vacuum are less than 10 years old, but I keep waiting for the day this 18 year old Sony TV goes out!  We have a large flat screen TV (a little over a year old) in the upstairs den, but right here in my downstairs den (not too far from the front door) is this big boxy dinosaur.  DH refuses to let it go as long as it works.  I sometimes fantasize about the many ways I could help retire it and rearrange the furniture in there.  I've even suggested moving it into our bedroom (where we have no TV), but he says we don't need a TV in the bedroom and this one is fine where it is.  I wonder how long it will last!  The two Sony TVs we had before this one each lasted less than 3 years.  (One got hit by lightening and not sure what happened to the other one.)

It's fun to read all of your replies. I wish things were still built to last.
