Such a shame, wonder why he didn't bother to have a will? That much money, I am sure he was told by his lawyers over and over again......Wow! I hadn't heard that Aretha didn't have one either?

If litigation and such is going on with his Estate all will be before a Judge, including the fees and costs of the contested Estate.  The attorney's will be allowed to be paid by the Estate but the Judge will have to approve the fees.  He will not let them take all but it could be a great deal.  During some of our corporate bankruptcy cases we had to present our bills to the Judge for approval and sometimes certain items were rejected or reduced.
