I cannot imagine a reason to even want to look at that info but I guess there must be a reason for some folks.
I found it when I was "exploring" the new forums, and then I knew I was signed on but couldn't find my name. That's when I found the second alphabetical listing... have no earthly idea why it's that way. But I thought it was interesting that I can be "invisible" and hide and lurk and watch, and no one will even know I'm here!
That is, unless I decide to put my two cents worth in somewhere....

The number of those just looking was around a thousand or more. This user unfriendly board certainly doesn't have ten times the actual users as the old familiar boards. You can tell by looking at how many posts show up within an hour or so.
Quite often, the number that showed on my screen was 4 or 5 figures. When it reached, say 14,500-16,000, I assumed that included the entire website of shoppers and those on the forums. I could be all wet...

There are still major kinks in the forum operation.
I have different words than you about this, but i will not use them. I said from the getgo that those that post here are being used as "beta testers" for this new programming.
I have been a beta tester for 2 potential upgrades for an auto racing simulator. I didn't get paid cash, but I did get free copies of all the versions of this racing sim. Some companies pay beta testers/some use their own employees/some use volunteers, and some put out programs without having them "beta tested".
They leave the testing to those trying to use the program as their beta testers. I think it would have been nice if those that post here had been told they were being used to work out, what you call: "kinks", and I call?

1. When I click on users (top right box) and put my screen name in the search box, most replies not listed.
2. When I click on users (top right box) and put my screen name in the search box, those replies that are listed aren't listed in chronological order.
3. Those that are listed have NO date or time listed. This makes it impossible to follow up on posts and replies and carry on a conversation!
I thought we'd have these major flaws worked out by now. No wonder people aren't using these boards now. By the way, the number of people listed as being ON the boards is FALSE.
...........................
When I search your name, everything is in order, there are dates and times, also the number of new posts are listed and last poster as well. If you click on the date and time of the last poster it will take you to the last post.

Well this is just a home shopping channel board, do you really expect the same thing? Even stuff with beta testers doesn't perform the same when released to the masses. (I use that loosely) This is not a major BB, nor will it ever be.

Oh no! This is not a major BB? All these yearsni have been here and now ya tell me. Dang if don't learn something new every day. Beta tester twice on racing sims, and there less few problems with a much more graphic intensive program, which also used AI those simulators.
