I read this on his Twitter account too. His lead guitarist Joe Perry also has had some health issues. He collapsed in a performance in LA with his other band. In fact, all the members of Aerosmith have had some health issues the last 10 years, which I guess is to be expected. I saw them live three or four years ago, and their energy was limitless. Steven seems to be happiest when he is putting on a show. Love their music, love their band. Keep on rockiing, Aerosmith.

Aerosmith-The Bad Boys from Boston. Great group.
Sending good wishes for recovery for Tyler.

He better listen to the doctors and not travel. You only live once that we know of. I hope he is feeling better.

I've had seizures for 69 years. They are wicked. Add lupus, RA, diabetes and some mild stuff. Some days I'm barely alive, but I do what I'm able. Just don't ever tell me, "Get well quickly" or "It's not cancer." Seizures or any "hidden illness" is a life sentence and IS terminal . . . they attack the immune system, causing havoc with every organ. The resulting pain, fatique and other symptoms are not visible, but very real. Medication is on-going.
Seizures are usually the beginning of a serious medical problem. And, I'll repeat myself. They are life-threatening. Most seizure patients end up in the ER.

@BirkiLady I appreciate you sharing and bringing light to this subject. I was in the ER with my daughter just a few weeks back, after 4+ years seizure free. Her meds were adjusted....

She was quoting The Boston Globe article and Steven Tyler himself. I guess THEY need to take CPR classes and be more informed.
