l really love Stephen but I have to admit some of it was not his best and George didn't add anything to the show. I'm sure it will get better. He is nothing like the 2 Jimmies, his humor is a lot different and some people just don't like his style. But, I do.

the bit with clooney was a bit boring but at the same time I think they would both have similar views and clooney will probably be on more and the next time it will be better. On cbs clips they had one of Jeb cut out where Colbert tries to help him be better in the debates and I think Jeb will be better the next time too. ( too many Oreos for one night).
Now I may be wrong but at the end when they showed the locker room I think Steve's locker had a picture of a young Jon Stewart and jimmy Fallon's a picture of Colbert.

I loved the Jon Stewart bit. As much as I like Clooney, much of that interview was lame. Colbert will hit his stride and he most definitely wasn't supporting Trump![]()

I'd recorded it and finally watched it ..... and wasn't the least bit impressed .... he seemed much too juvenile for his age.
I hope he finds a way to be a little more dignified .... Johnny Carson could be both funny and dignified, but there'll never be another Carson.

There's a great article on the Daily beast about Stephen's faith.
Wasn't that a great article about Mr. Colbert? I like his explanation of how his religious belief informs his comedy. A very intelligent man.

I watched the beginning but I prefer the subtle, I like wit rather than buffoonery. I'll give him another try in a few months, perhaps by then it will have mellowed some.
