I have it dvr'd. My father read the book in a day or two. He told me about it just today. He said he couldn't put the book down. I'm excited to see it.

I thought it was unrealistic as I think any woman who just got raped and sodomized as well as punched in the face with so much force, would have life threatening injuries and need hospitalization. Instead, she walks on the highway moaning periodically and then immediately plans her revenge without skipping a beat. I don't think so.

I thought it was pretty good, and Maria Bello was very good as Tess. I used to read all of Stephen King's books, but haven't in the last few years. Knowing how his mind works, I kept wondering if Tess was going to wind up being a "crazy" character in one of her own books! {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

LOL! I said the same thing . We just finished watching it.

I also thought it might be that she really was nuts and killed those people and they really hadn't done anyting.

I thought the ending was good. Was happy it didn't leave loose ends and that it ended the way it seemed it was going to.

HI Scottie. ITA

I liked it overall, but I thought the r#pe scene was so disgusting. I couldn't watch part of the beginning. Maria Bello is a fabulous actress.

Yes, it was farfetched in parts as someone else said...but all of those kinds of movies--for the most part--are a bit far fetched. It was a decent movie--not great. I want to read the book as my dad said the book was fabulous.

Many of those movies are unrealistic.

Re: Stephen King's Big Driver on tonight

I didn't watch it but I opened this thread to find out more about it. Read Post #23, THEN read the OP. Ohhhhhhhhhh. I noticed a long time ago that every movie on Lifetime shows so much violence against women or women being taken advantage of. It's why I never watch Lifetime anymore. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}
