States AK vs PA (weather)

The temperature in Anchorage, AK right now (12:31 AM EST) is 30 degrees.

My thermometer in South central, PA says minus 1 degree! (its going lower by morning with wind chills of 20 or more below!).

So much for my famous statement this Winter where Ive been saying, "Its as cold as Alaska here and if I wanted to live in Alaska Id move there!"

Its colder HERE! Sooo maybe I DO want to move to Alaska to warm up!.lol.

Yes I know, it could be worse I could be in MA with all of that snow.

This is ridiculous. I haven't worn LESS than 3 layers on top INDOORS! Don't even guess what I'm wearing outside. I've given up wearing fashionable boots and just wear my clodhopper snow boots everywhere! At least I won't fall. Someone here is laid up with a broken ankle after trying to get the ice off her car; many have gone down - I did once, right outside my garage, but thank goodness I landed in a bunch of snow.

And I'm watching all of the QVC shows devoted to SPRING fashion --- 28 more days! (I think!)

It's bad everywhere. Louisiana was 33 today!

It's so crazy, right? Even places that never really got bad weather are being plagued this winter!!!! I don't mind cold up to a certain point, and when it's only for a couple days, but man, this is out of control! I think this really wears you out. I know I am tired just thinking about it. If I never see another snow shovel or scraper, I will be happy!!! ${#emotions_dlg.crying}$
