Re: Starbucks' Cup Controversy

I think the whole thing is silly.  Who cares--at least the cup is red and green!  I don't drink Starbucks no matter what color the cup is or what is on it.  It tastes very bitter to me, even if I add lots of cream and hot water.

The cup controversy is much ado about NOTHING. Starbuck's coffee is the WORST. The price is also RIDICULOUS!

What is ridiculous about $1.85 for a small coffee or a little over $2.00 for a large?  If you can't afford it, that's okay.  Smiley Wink

Yes it has.

But you know, it's a new and improved board.  So much better than it used to be.  NOT!

It sure is better.  That was pretty mild compared to what used to happen.  How could you forget?

Lip, I can 'afford' it but I find that pricey and don't enjoy the taste.  Dunkin's may charge even more.   I pay $1.05 for a large cup of custom made joe, lol.

In my area DD is cheaper and I think the sizes are bigger.  But I don't like DD coffee.

I can't drink coffee everyday anymore so when I really want a cup, I stop at Starbucks.  I don't mind paying that for an occassional treat.  And while some may find it pricey, it's no where near the prices that have been quoted here which was my point.

I know of one company that does not permit their different departments to decorate for Christmas. It is a B&M store BUT make a lot of coin at this time of year and the loudspeakers blast Holiday Music.
