His stuff is at Dillards, also. I've seen it while ago I assume he's still

available there.

Stan is still around, he was on one night a few weeks ago. Very late at night, and the weird thing was that he was only there to present one item.

He lives in NYC (and probably 8 other homes), but NYC is still quite a drive to the Q for one item? Seemed odd to me, but he was his usual bubbly self.

10 minutes and he was gone. Still as peppy as ever. Talked about of the airlines he makes the uniforms for changing their style so he has that big job. He is not young, so perhaps he is just sticking with his UPS, airline, Fed Ex etc. now.

Years ago I purchased one of his chenille robes.  Well, suffice to say that thing is still like brand new because, only wearing it once, I was finding fuzzies all over my house!

So then, not terribly long after that, he came out with something right up my alley - a FLEECE, zip up, sleeves that you can turn back a bit, robe.   The color variety wasn't great but I got one in a kind of muted turquoise color.

I really liked (still do!) that one a lot so, not terribly long after that, I decided to get another one.   I like stuff like that to be very oversized so I get a size large and all I could get was another color of blue (kind of a baby blue), so I ordered another one.

Well, let me tell ya - between the time I got the first one and the second one the quality changed dramatically!  The second one is a lot thinner and of lesser quality.   It works out, as I use the heavier one more in cold weather and the other one when it's not cold.

But that is what gets me - they will have a product or a product line that is decent quality and after they've sold a bunch of them and made them popular they dumb down the quality.

I've seen this in many different products and product lines and it is terribly disappointing.

Stan reminds me of an older version of Bill Green. Similar mannerisms and the way they talk. I really like both of these guys.Woman Happy

I have 3 of Stans heavy robes and 2 pj sets.   They are all 5+ years old and still in good shape.  Even my cats like the feel of the fabric.    I went on the Q and ordered a pj set for my DIL.  I hope this gift is as good quality as my previous purchases.   They should arrive in time as they shipped today.

My favorite comfort robe is a Stan Herman, but it stood up too well, probably, for his stature at the Q. I've had it for 10+ years.  Looks as good as ever.

You buy a Stan Herman robe and they might as well issue a lifetime guarantee.  I enjoyed his presentations very much.  Perhaps he thought it was time to quit, though. He's been on since almost the beginning?  Maybe he retired?

I owe this thread an apology.... I went back and did some more research.... our Stan Herman was not the person who was married to Linda Evans.... I am truly sorry for posting mis-information.

yeah, somehow I sincerely doubt that "our" Stan was married to Linda Evans.

sheesh.

@tennpal15so who is this Stan Herman? I'm confused. Is our Stan Herman (the robe man) still on QVC? I could have guessed that our Stan Herman wasn't married to Linda Evans, but hey, you never know.

I really liked our Stan Herman. Who is the other one?

I did not know he was gone. How do you know? I own and have given several of his robes. Are you sure? So, we get cheap cuddle duds or that overpriced barefoot line instead? I would have bought at least three zip-up Stan Herman robes this fall had I seen them.

QVC needs more variety, not less. I look at these boards but I hardly ever turn on QVC or look at their stuff online anymore. It's always the same ol' thing....
