My new neighbor, behind my house, likes to smoke weed in his yard on a regular basis, so it pretty much smells like skunk all the time around here.  Argh.

Oh, it's definitely not me.  In fact, I think Better-Half and I are the only people in this city who aren't skunking up the environment. Woman LOL

I don't think I can smell skunks, not sure what's up with that. We have them here often, we put food out for the critters most every night when the weather is decent. I will probably start again soon, I know that DH will say "oh Stinky!" when he sprays but I don't smell it.

The only time we smell skunk around here is when one gets run over?

The rabbits & squirrels are chasing each other. I know one of the rabbits just had babies. She's like go away leave me alone.

Decades ago when we had a dachshund, we both got a direct hit one night.  Totally different smell than when passing thru it in your car.  We both ran in the house and Odie jumped up on the waterbed and was trying to rub off the smell.  MONTHS for that smell to go away.  DH was pouring tomato juice on me while I was in the tub (btw that doesn't work).  Our 3 year old daughter slept thru the whole thing.  I'm glad she did.  I would have hated for her to walk in and see me.  I'm sure she would have thought it was blood Smiley Surprised

In Texas you can see dead opossums in the road turned on their backs.  Someone will position the poor thing holding a beer can to it's mouth.

That's sick. Who'd do something like that?

We have lots of skunks my son in law and my granddaughter both got sprayed on our front porch.  We don't have snow or a real winter really so they are here year round.  It will be 72 degrees this week.

That is so disgusting about the possum.  I would hope they would check to make sure they don't have babies but the beer thing is just gross and disrespectful.

As far as I know, they don't kill them!  They see them dead on the road.  And I don't know who does that.  It's just done.
