It's powder dry here in So Cal. I'll take the fine misty rain for days and days. Anything beyond that and we're in for a hard time of a different sort.

Thank you!

You see the accusations I get everyday by the same ones and yet they accept even newer posters than myself. Makes on wonder. They are stalkers and bullies.

Perhaps that is why I felt defensive of PB. She seems very fair. I like her posts...she makes me laugh and doesn't take sides.

We still have a lot of snow but last weekend it was sunny and over 50. There is exposed ground on the south side of the house. There are now snowdrops blooming there. In past years, it was not unusual to see a few in late January.

Tell it to the poor birds shivering on the branches.

I think they came home too soon.

I agree. My DD saw a robin in her yard 2 days ago. Last night the wind chill was -22. So, that robin is either suicidal by today, or already frozen to a tree branch.

So, OP - spring is NOT on it's way here in Mn.

This has been one crazy winter...everywhere. I hate to think part of our country is in such a severe drought. That is dangerous.

The rest can be dealt with.

I wish we could load a few hundred trains full of snow and head them west. Mn. could save the entire state of Ca. We are going to have some major flooding IF it ever melts.
