@mom2four0418  Since you are a mom of 4, you realize how difficult it is to leave a 5 year old for even one night.  It is equally as hard for his wife, who is responsible for everything at home plus her job.

You said that he was away from his family for a long time. He was able to be with them for at least part of each week, while he was earning millions of dollars for his family. I am sure that they are very proud of him; as they should be.

Re: Spoiler Alert: Jeopardy fans

I was thinking about that Final Jeopardy wager.  Either his intention was to throw the game or he bet that she would wager a lot more and miss the answer thereby allowing him to win with his small wager.  There's ho way of knowing.   Anyhow I bet ratings will dip now.  I enjoyed watching him.  I liked his personality, his quirkiness.

I enjoyed watching him, too.  I had started recording it.  I will miss him.

I still think it was wrong to post about this for those of us that wanted to watch the show.

My die hard rule: never open a thread that says spoiler alert if I don't want to know.

I avoided all Game of Thrones threads successfully until I was able to watch the finale. It's really not hard to do.

I agree, but as stated in Post #11, the message was shown without opening.

@mom2four0418, etc.

If I had had a clue that anything in the message was visible for some reason, I would never have posted this thread. I guess the only spoiler alert available to us is inside a thread.

That's all I really have to say about this other than I had no desire or intent for anyone to see what they might not want to see.

Re: Spoiler Alert: Jeopardy fans

They tape 5 jeopardy games a day. They tape 2 days a week. His family was with him for at least part of the time. So he basically was there 6 days.  Missed his family? Really?

He did not throw the game.

@suzyQ3  Don't worry about being a "spoiler." It was all over the internet. I think the network got more viewers because of the original news article earlier today. It was fun watching it!

The next questions

Will she win tomorrow?

Do you want her to win tomorrow?

If so, do you want her to go on winning?
