Re: Spending A Day With A Celebrity

Tony Danza would be a fun person to spend a day with.

Mario Lopez, too.

I like their cheerful energy!

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I'd chose Bobby Flay and Wolfgang Puck and have them cook me meals for the day

@aj1980 If you really like to eat and talk food and have some laughs, Emeril's a good choice too! We use to eat at Commander's Palace back in the day and he would come out all the time and talk food with 'ya.  And good food it was too!  The man loves what he does.

Re: Spending A Day With A Celebrity

I have nothing against celebrities, but I honestly can't think of any that I would want to spend a day with, but I can think of a few authors.

Stephen king

Michael Connelly

John Sanford

Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb

I could go on. I just want to know what makes them tick, how do they come up with their ideas. What sort of people they are beyond the books.

@ROMARY   A good friend of mine used to work in a famous high dollar restaurant here in Philly.  Tony Danza was there one night with a group of people, most of whom were young, attractive, extremely "friendly" women.  I was told that he was very hands on with these woman and very good at letting everyone know who he was and that he was in charge. Quite the show off.

Kelly Riley.  She plays Beth on Yellowstone.  I'd love to have her discuss her movies.  I've seen her in some of her movies.  I think she's a great actress, and will miss the fact that we won't get the pleasure of more of Yellowstone.  Too bad someone ruined it for others.

Or Shirley McLaine.  She's acted for so many years, and been in so many movies, I'd love to hear all the stories I'm sure she has had in her life.

One of my favorite movies was "Steel Magnolias". I think spending the day with all of those ladies would be fun...talking about how they enjoyed making that movie... going to a fun restaurant and just hearing them laugh! 😊

If Cher is busy, would it be okay if I hung out with you guys? Woman Happy

@jackiejenny ... Of course you can!! We would have a blast wouldn't we?!?! 😊

One of my favorite authors passed away a few months ago: Peter Robinson.

I own all of his books, and have read over 40 (thus far).

His writing skills were nearly perfect. In addition, I love how he would continually make references to various styles of music and particular artists: our ages were very close, and I loved those who were his favorites. He also knew everything about their musical styles.

I'd always intended to write him a letter, but the opportunity is no longer viable.

I will continue reading the few books of his I hadn't gotten to.

Everything he wrote was wondrous.

@insomniac2  I didn't know he passed away. He has been one of my favorites also. I love the DCI Alan Banks novels and am always looking for one I haven't read yet.

To the 2 ladies who posted just before me...What type of books does Peter Robinson write?  I'll have to look him up.  Thanks.

Thought of one. I'd like to spend a day w/the person or persons that picks the TSVs. I 'd like to see why. I know this is not a celeb, but I'm curious.
