I tried them awhile ago and they hurt so bad I returned them.  I  would like to try them again but am hesitant bacause of a possible return.  Did anyone have this experience with them?  I have very high arches maybe that was why they hurt so much.

You tried these TSV shoes??? Oh--- I just ordered them--thought they were so cute--I don't have feet issues and I loved the thongs from Spenco I bought---very comfy on my feet----hope they feel good-----

I own the Spenco sandal with the big buckle (thong sandal) and initially they felt great but after continual wearing my feet started to hurt a lot.  I will not buy this brand again but to be honest it seems like all shoes and sandals feel great until they don't.  Fortunately, I have many shoes and sandals in which to choose from and when one hurts my feet switch out until that one starts to hurt my feet and then I go to another brand or maybe style within the same brand.  Like I said they all are great....until they're not.  Cat Frustrated

Spenco were a big NO for me due to no arch support in the ones I tried at all.  I tried 2x, different styles and had to return them.

I don't consider them orthotic at all.

I wouldn't risk losing over $10 to try them again.

I have not tried Spenco but I do find that these shoes that are podiatrist accepted, ie: Vionic,  can only be worn IMO, for short amounts of time.  If I wear my vionics for too many hours my back and feet tend to hurt.  I'm not sure if it's because they are totally different footbeds??    I have many brands of shoes and sandals that have decent support and are comfortable, so this has always been a bit puzzling to me.

I would never buy a brand of shoes from TV that I was unfamiliar with.  Too expensive with s/h.  And there are places that at least offer free shipping if not free returns.

@LindaSal   my experience with Vionics as well as myriad other brands is that no one brand works well for every food in every shoe or even every type of shoe.

I have 2 different Vionic sandals I can wear for hours and hours day after day, but I have never found other Vionic sandals I want to buy.   Also wore one pair of Vionic sneakers until they were ready for the garbage can, but another pair I like only sometimes.

Sad to say that's true about New Balance even.  I am on my third pair of one of their walking sneakers, but not one other pair has been comfortable enough for me to wear them for any long hours or long walks.  Okay from the car to a restaurant and back, but that's not much of an endorsement.

Haven't tried any Spenco's but if I do, it will be only in a local shop.

@dmeasy    Spenco shoes have a very low, gentle arch support.  If you have high arches, your arch should not even come in contact with the arch support.  I can't wear Vionic but find Spenco very comfortable.

@agb80   Perhaps sandals aren't suited to your foot and you need more support.  Try wearing a supportive sneaker instead.
