Here are a couple that could work with Memorial weekend and of course 4th of July

Red, White, and Blue Shot Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ ounce Grenadine
  • ½ ounce Peach Schnapps or Vodka
  • ½ ounce Blue Curacao

Slowly pour each ingredient into a shot glass to create a layered effect. Add them in the order listed above.

How pretty! Love Sangria.

Fate whispers to her, "You cannot withstand the storm." She whispers back, "I am the storm."

For anyone thinking of trying this drink I suggest the old bartender's trick of pouring each "layer" into the glass over the back of a spoon. You're much less likely to mix the layers that way. Also, the red, blue, white order is probably best, because you want to pour the thickest component first.
