I pay $10.99, which includes whatever fees/taxes, a month.  I have the Platinum plan.

When my subscription needs to be renewed, it goes up to more than I care to spend.  I call and whine that I can't afford that increase and it goes back down.

I gotta try the call and whine  approach! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks!

Anybody know if this is accessible on a Bose radio?

@Kachina624

i purchased a bose via QVC a number of years ago.

it came with a bonus small amazon alexa adapter where you could add that to the bose radio to be able to listen to sirius/xm. i am not sure if that particular adapter is still available though.

@patbz   What was their reasoning for not honoring their "lifetime plan?"

I think we are paying $55 a month, that's for 3 cars, the motorhome and the house computers. BUT I think my new Jeep is on a complimentary 12 month plan.

It's been very long time ago but in a nutshell the option got too popular. It eventually was settled in court and I got something ( not much) but my lifetime purchase meant I paid $13:a yr.

Re: Speaking of Sirius XM...

@Mz iMac    Sirius came free with my last car, but that expired and I pay nothing.  Like your car, mine has a disc player and I rotate from my personal collection. Music I know I like, cheap, and no commercials!

Re: Speaking of Sirius XM...

When we bought a new car in 2011 it came with three free months of Sirius XM.  At the end of those 3 months it was still playing and we were paying nothing. That lasted for 9 years! After 9 years it went off air and I called. Seems as though my radio number was associated with a fleet account in Colorado. This Fleet was paying for my Sirius XM for all these years. When they told me what had happened, they said "Merry Christmas to you!" LOL. We now pay $72 a year,  total.  The Lincoln also has a 3-month free subscription. I'll call and just have them add those three months to my paid subscription.

Re: Speaking of Sirius XM...

I also got tired of renegotiating the plan every year at renewal.  They guy I spoke with in October put me on a lifetime plan that automatically renews every year at $108 for the year.  No more calling every year.  Whatever that equals out to, I'm fine with it.  I listen to a lot of programs and really enjoy it.

@Linda0215  I feel the same way - I'm so happy to not have to re-negotiate a price every year.

Thanks again everyone!
