Bad, bad kitty.
@QueenDanceALot Let's not get nuts. You've lost an angel wing maybe but not the hot place yet. ![]()

I live alone, take care of my yard. Go out with my mini doxie. I have been a good neighbor for years.
Long story short, after surveys, many Sherriff visits, all I got is, you now have a civil case. Well, that's just more money.
My conclusion...its their world, I live in it. I will never win.
So, I try to just ignore them.
Sometimes I can't! After all, I am human so I do loud outdoor chores at inconvenient times for them. I also plan on buying a loud outdoor wind chime to help with the silent whistle they use on my dog. My dog Julio, won't even bark when strangers are on the street if they are home. They pull out their silent whistle at his first little bark.
@peggyhbsl ... I know it will cost a lot of money, but I'd construct a privacy fence on my property line to screen them out.

Winter's coming. The hot place doesn't sound too bad.

Grrr is right!
I had to laugh a couple weeks ago when one of their visitors parked in front of the house on the other side of them. The woman who lives there blew her leaves onto the car. Made me LOL.
And yes, one of the visitors likes to park where I put the trash bins out. DUH!!
Now you hit my peeve with my neighbors. I will have my car parked in my driveway. My neighbor will mow his grass and he doesn't use a bag or a mulcher so the grass blows everywhere. One day I left my car windows open and the inside of my car was full of grass and the outside of my car had grass all over it from him mowing. He uses a rider. I was not a happy camper.
Now I don't leave my windows open anymore but my car will often have grass all over it. Or we'll do our lawn, clean the driveway all up and he will mow later that day or the next and our driveway will be covered with his grass.
When we get our grass on our neighbor's drive on the other side of us, DH cleans her driveway off.

I don't like your neighbor.

@QueenDanceALot But Satan's not a good host. I know. I run into him all the time in my customer service line of work. Try purgatory instead to warm yourself up. ![]()

Neighbors can be real difficult, including myself I guess. I have a neighbor who regularly lets her dog off leash so I regularly have to pick up its poop and deal with the dead grass. I have spoken to her and her husband on separate occasions three times. NOTHING
I have a neighbor across the street who throws much of her lawn trash ... leaves etc in neighboring yards, but holds herself up as a pillar of the church ... blessing herself before "helping" my other neighbor by watching her descend her front stairs etc. In the winter she invariably plows/shovels her snow onto adjacent properties ...she's on an acre. She used to have it plowed across the street into my yard until I spoke up. Afterwards, she stopped me while I pulling out of my drive to say that if the opposite side of the street was mine???( I was referring to my yard) then I was pulling out onto hers and therefore tresspassing. Then she said, "You better go say your prayers." ??#!!!??!!!
the neighbor to another side frequently accosted me to ask me if I was trying to "claim" that nebulous area along the property line that isn't completely clear with out actually drawing a line, whenever she saw me in this area. Her landscaping crew frequently mowed down areas of landscaping that I did over the years. Finally I decided to tell them where it was, because I did eventually pay thousands to surveyor just to know with certainty. She ran out of the house yelling that I had no right to tell her landscapers what to do. I told her I wasn't, and explained. Then her sister ran out of the house to tell me I was abusing the elderly, because I was actually standing up for myself for a change.
And there's more from the neghbor behind and to the other side of my house.
I tried to be neighborly with all of them in the beginning years. I have found that they only like you if you allow them to behave withoout your needs taken in to consideration. So If you let them walk all over youand allow them to take advantage of your tolerance ... you're a great neighbor.
Answer: Keep to yourself. Do what you do not to hurt them, but to do what is right to both protect your property and your right to enjoy it. If you can't build a fence, acting as if you don't see them when they're around you and you are out is the best solution, imo. Barriers to access may be necessary sometimes. I have had one neighbor's guest drive over my property , when she was blocked in by another guest. I wish I could have found friends in my neighbors, but such is life. Neighbors are a lot like families in that you can't pick and choose them, so just forget it.
